MPLT is seeking an Accounts Receivable VMS Specialist. This person will be ultimately responsible for the following:

  • Audit consultant hours between client system and eRecruit
  • Research account disputes and discrepancies; perform account reconciliation
  • Maintain client VMS systems as the administrator
  • Partner with Cash Applications and provide remittance details
  • Review and research customer over and short payments
  • Analyze client account pay patterns and address variance from contractual payment days
  • Establish a professional business relationship with both internal and external customers
  • Escalate AR issues, challenges or where assistance is required by division and/or market leader
  • Handle special projects; meet deliverables, milestones and due dates
  • Identify potential bad debt write-offs and/or sales adjustments within the assigned AR portfolio
  • Manage and document collection activity of assigned AR portfolio
  • Prepare client specific accounts receivable status reports and meet with front and back office leadership to review; discuss strategic and tactical plans of attack to bring accounts current
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly AR reports at a summary and detail level
  • Proactively and expeditiously address collection issues, billing disputes or payment delays
  • Refer problematic/difficult accounts to established third party outsource partner
  • Assist in any other tasks or duties as assigned


The ideal candidate will have a background of at least 2 years commercial collection experience – staffing industry and VMS experience preferred.

  • Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Comfortable with creating reports, analyzing data and making recommendations
