Cardiothoracic NP/PA – Locums – Badger, WA

Position: Cardiothoracic NP/PA Location: Badger, WA

Position Details:

• Dates & Schedule:
• Duration: Dec 1, 2024 – Oct 1, 2025
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, in-hospital first assisting
• Clinic Coverage: Every third week on Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
• Call Coverage: 7-8 days per month
• Night call during the week
• 24-hour call on weekends
• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
• Participate in clinic care every third week.
• Cover both inpatient and outpatient settings, with 80% of time in the hospital and 20% in the clinic.
• Manage vascular and endovascular cases.
• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) is required.
• Handle a patient load of 10-15 patients per day (PPD).
• Requirements:
• Experience as a CVT Surgery PA or NP.
• Proficiency in vascular, endovascular, first assist, and inpatient care.
• Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Washington State licensure preferred, or ability to practice under IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
