Position: Critical Care NP Location: Simpson, NC

Position Details:

• Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners with at least 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in a Cardiac ICU, to provide locums coverage in their state-of-the-art 24-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
• Duration: 7 months post-credentialing.
• Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per 28 days.
• Primary need: Night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am), with options for 3–4 nights per week or 7 consecutive nights.
• Weekend day shift opportunities available (7:00am – 7:00pm).
• Clinical Responsibilities:
• Perform procedures: arterial lines, central venous lines, intubation, ventilator management.
• Comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications (DEA license required).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide patient education and follow-up care.
• NC license required
