Position Details:

• Prefer to credential someone with a min of 2 shifts a week
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Formulate differential diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, incision and drainage, and other emergency interventions as appropriate.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to guide patient management.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, as per state regulations and within the scope of practice.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• REQUIREMENTS: NC license Required; DEA
