Position: Endocrinology Pediatric NP Location: Lower Allen, PA

Position Details:

• PA license Required; DEA; DATES & Schedule (call): 3/17-5/9
• Conducting outpatient visits for new and follow-up patients
• Managing chronic endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders)
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (e.g., hormone panels, glucose tolerance tests, thyroid ultrasounds)
• Adjusting medications and treatment plans based on patient response
• Performing or assisting with in-office procedures (e.g., fine-needle aspiration of thyroid nodules)
• Educating patients on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and disease prevention
• Coordinating care with primary care physicians, specialists, and diabetes educators
• Providing phone or in-person consultation for urgent endocrine cases
• Addressing hospital consults for endocrine-related conditions (e.g., diabetic ketoacidosis, adrenal crisis, thyroid storm)
• Adjusting inpatient diabetes and insulin management plans
• Managing urgent electrolyte and metabolic abnormalities
• Collaborating with hospitalists and intensivists for inpatient endocrine care
