MPLT Healthcare is looking for Physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced Neurologist with highly competitive pay rates available in Scottsboro, AL.
Position Details:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified; Fellowship training will be plus
- equipped with EEG, EMG machine, VNG machine
- 90 % outpatient and 10% inpatient
- Flexible
- Teaching opportunity & Leadership opportunity Cover one hospital only
- Call coverage: 5 calls/month plus (one weekend call)
- 1 to 3 consults per call
- ONLY consults, never admit or primary on patients
- Clinic hours 8 to 5, last patient at around 4, to work on notes and admin work
- General neurology patients: Wide variety and complexities
- EEG; NATUS machine; EMG/NCS Cadwell machine
- Certified Tech, who has been doing NCS for 6 to 7 years
