Position Details:

• 24-hour In House Call
• WI license preferred, ACT-10 or Compact Required; DEA; BLS, PALS, NRP, UVC, Intubation
• Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis: / Treatment and Procedures: Administering medications, managing ventilators, inserting central lines, intubation, lumbar punctures, and other invasive procedures as needed for critically ill newborns.
• Care Management: Developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans for neonates, ensuring that the infants’ medical, nutritional, and developmental needs are met.
• Monitoring and Stabilization: Monitoring the newborn’s vital signs, interpreting lab results, and adjusting care plans as needed to stabilize their condition.
• Resuscitation and Emergency Care: Leading neonatal resuscitation efforts during emergencies such as cardiac arrest or respiratory distress.
• Discharge Planning and Follow-up: Assisting with planning for the discharge of stable infants and ensuring follow-up care plans are in place, often coordinating with other specialists for long-term care needs.
