Position: Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Location: Elwood, MO

Position Details:

• Coverage type: Call with OR coverage during the week & weekend
• Call hours: 24 Hrs
• Clinic: Tuesday – Thursday 8:00AM to 4:30PM, roughly 8 – 10 patients per day. The main focus will be surgery and OR call, which is our greater need at this time
• Call type: In-House
• Call response time required: 20 minutes
• Call ratio: 1:4
• Phone Consults: 5 per night
• Patients seen: 15 per day
• TARGET START DATE: September 5th
• Specific dates are forthcoming
• Our PA’s do CT’s, etc, but we do not do Vascular Surgery cases, we are a pure CT surgery practice.
• Overnight call, Pt call, OR help, weekend help
• Staff Mix: 2 RNs, 1 MA
• REQUIREMENTS (state license, life support, DEA, etc.): MO State License, ACLS, BLS.
• EMR SYSTEM: EPIC
• Nearest Airport: Springfield Branson Regional Airport
• Lodging Recommendations: TownePlace Suites Springfield
