Position: Hematology/Oncology NP

Location: Indianapolis, IN

MPLT Healthcare is looking for NP’s who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Hematology/Oncology NP with highly competitive pay rates in Indianapolis, IN.

Position Details:

• Primary focus on outpatient care
• 36 hours of patient care / ambulatory clinic coverage per week
• On-call Provider handles new consults at the hospital
• Phone Consults: 5-6 per week.
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Call back %: <10%
• Call Type: Beeper
• Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients
• New consults are assigned to the on-call provider once evaluated.
• Patient Mix: 70% Oncology, 30% Hematology (Primarily Benign cases)
• Call rotation every 4th or 5th week
• One full week at a time
• Expected hospital visits:
• Weekdays (M–F) for new consults
• Saturday and/or Sunday for rounding only
• IN State License or IMLC, IN DEA, BLS
