Child and Adolescent Psychiatry | Duluth, MN

We are seeking a Psychiatry Physician for recurring inpatient coverage. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule, a 10-hour work-day, and a manageable inpatient census in a supportive clinical environment.

• Practice Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry

• Patient Population: Child & Adolescent

• Age Range: Patients as young as 3 years old may be accepted, depending on the current patient population and clinical appropriateness

• Average Census: Approximately 12 patients per day

• Coverage Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Responsibilities: Daily patient rounds, admissions, discharges, and management of unit needs during coverage hours

• Documentation: History & Physicals (H&Ps) are required. In most cases, the ED examination is reviewed and documented as remaining consistent.

To be considered, physicians must be able to commit to the following coverage dates in full:

• December 28 – January 3

• January 25 – January 31

• February 22 – February 28

• March 22 – March 28

• April 26 – May 2

• May 24 – May 30

• June 14 – June 20

• July 12 – July 18

• August 9 – August 15

• Consistent, recurring coverage blocks

• Flexible rounding times based on physician preference

• Average daily census of approximately 12 patients
