C/A Psychiatrist (I/P) – Locums – Upstate, NY

Position: C/A Psychiatrist Location: Upstate, NY

Position Details:

• Start date: August 25th or as soon as credentialed
• Minimum 90-day commitment; would like a long-term commitment.
• M-F 40 hours a week every week
• Call: 1 weekday a week; first call goes to NP
• 1 weekend a month – will have to round will spilt Adult and C/A unit with NP
• C/A unit Will be splitting patients with 1 PMHNP.
• This is an Acute unit. All patients come from the ER. They get the patients stable then either move them to another program or discharge them.
• The hospital also has a 28 bed; Adult Inpatient unit that the locum would only be responsible for call
• They have a full treatment team for support
• Charting: CPSI

Credentialing Requirements:

• Must have active NY license and DEA
• Must have child adolescent experience
• Must have clean medical record – no pending or active cases
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
