Position: Cardiology NP Location: Mesa, AZ

Position Details:

• At least 2–3 years of experience
• Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Will be on weekend rotation at some point)
• Active Arizona NP license
• Certifications required – ACLS (American Heart Association) and DEA
• Local providers only – prefers locums to perm (will not pay for flight/travel, hotel or rental car)
• Will work at the Clinic and Hospital – (In Patient)
• About 15-18 PPD on average
• Must be an excellent team player and can handle stress in a fast-paced environment
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Athena & Epic charting systems
• Strong computer skills
• Stress tests
• Explain cardiac diagnoses, treatment plans, and test results.
• Educate patients on meds, lifestyle, and warning signs
• Initiate diagnostic workup and orders
• Provide lifestyle counseling: diet, exercise, smoking cessation, sodium/fluid restrictions.
