General Orthopedic Surgeon – Locums – New Mexico

Position: General Orthopedic Surgeon

Location: New Mexico

Position Details:

• Level 3 trauma hospital in New Mexico
• Need General Orthopedic Surgery coverage for full-time or 7 days on/7 days off for a 6+ month commitment until their hire perm
• 3 Days in Clinic and 2 OR days based on needed procedural volume
• Will need to provide Call Coverage every other week
• Must cover 7 on 7 off Call
• Full Clinic staff and Anesthesia are available
• 20-25 patients per day in clinic. Minimal callback per call shift (~3 patients seen/admissions). Most will be admitted to the Hospitalist and covered the next day
• Have 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 APPs, and 2 Office Staff
• Takes 30 days to credential
• EMR is Medhost
