Position Details:
- 24hr Call Coverage
- 7a-7a
- MI licensed only
- BC/BE
- Level 2 Trauma
- Typically, 2-4 calls per night ; 1-2 expected onsite call-ins.
- Patients Per Shift: Approximately 1-5
- Average Call Numbers per 24 Hours: 2-5 IP
- Physicians are not required to remain on-site while providing night or weekend call support but are required to round and discharge.
- Average onsite call-back hours expected: 2-4 hours per day
- Pt Consults
- Any on call questions/Transfers/Consult questions
- If assignment is strictly 24-hour call: 2-4 hours per day of rounding, and remaining hours on-call with call-back.
- Inpatient/Rounding
- Rounding to be done by locum provider on new admissions., and any inpatient who needs to be rounded on
- Common hospital procedures: Kidney stones, Consults on CBI, Stents, Hematuria management, Difficult cath placements
